Each boat has people rowing, and one person to beat a drum. The drummer tells the rowers how fast they should go, a fast beat means row faster, a slow beat means you can slow down…BOOM-DI-BOOM-DI-BOOM…

I had a very good Dragon Boat Festival, thank you for asking. I ate dumplings and watched the boat race with my friends on TV. It was very interesting to watch. The races in Stanley were very busy. There were people from all over Hong Kong, from many different countries. I hope I can enjoy the festival next year as well.
